1893

From the New York Observer, Sept., 1893 - "The modelling (sic) is particularly fine, and was worked out in accordance with detail drawings prepared by the architect, Mr. Bradford Lee Gilbert, of New York. To illustrate the progress in Railroad Station Architecture during recent years, Mr. Gilbert consented to loan a very fine collection of drawings representing work that has been executed after designs from his office, these "black and white" drawings costing about eight thousand dollars. The collection shows many desirable and picturesque railroad stations at various points throughout the United States and Mexico, and admirably illustrates the advancement that has been made of late years in railroad architecture. Mr. Gilbert has made a specialty of this branch of architecture for nearly twenty years."
