From the New York Observer, Sept., 1893 - "The New York Central Railroad exhibit is complete and attractive. The Company have erected an Arch forming an entrance to their exhibit, which from a point of Architectural excellence is second to none of its size on the grounds. The outlines of this building are simple, and what ornamentation has been applied is placed where it shows the best effect."
