| Photo of West end of the street side. This is how the station looks today. The tower in the center is gone. The West wall at one time was bowing out. The SDPC hired a contractor to dismantle the wall and rebuild it. Unfortunately, the contractor didn't use the face brick correctly. That is why there's a "V" shape to the wall. The 8x8's across the windows are there to support the walls from bowing out. There are 8x8's on the track side as well, and these are pulled together by turnbuckles. | |||
