David D. Morrison was the Long Island Rail Road's Branch Line Manager
for the Port Jefferson, Oyster Bay, and Patchogue-to-Montauk Branches
(retired 2001), and was active in the Long Island Rail Road Historical
Society and is active in the Long Island-Sunrise Trail Chapter of the
National Railway Historical Society.
He is also well-known as, firstly, the unofficial historian of the
Pennsylvania Station eagles and as, secondly, the unofficial historian
of the Grand Central Terminal eagles.
